This bespoke, massage-based facial uses a variety of manual techniques to increase circulation and clear stagnation, while removing impurities within the skin and underlying tissues. By gently opening and clearing pathways, blood flow, lymph, oxygen, and vital nutrients are able to reach the skin more efficiently, supporting both visible results and overall skin vitality. This transformative treatment is tailored to your individual needs and may incorporate manual lymphatic drainage (MLD), connective tissue manipulation (CTM), Gua Sha, facial cupping, Dien Chan Zone facial reflexology, and other face and upper-body techniques. Modalities are chosen intuitively and thoughtfully, allowing the treatment to unfold in a way that feels restorative, effective, and supportive. Sculptural facelifting involves kneading the muscles of the face, neck, and décolleté, followed by an intraoral massage (aka buccal massage) performed with non-latex gloves to manipulate the muscles from within the oral cavity. The benefits of this natural “face lift” include muscle tension relief, improved skin tone, softened lines, skin cell rejuvenation, increased circulation, and a sculpted, lifted appearance. Depending on your skin and muscular needs, additional or alternative therapies might be included, such as Gua Sha and facial cupping. Nichola Joss’s unique Inner Facial™ combines lymphatic drainage massage, deep tissue pressure point massage and sculpting techniques to lift the facial muscles. The Inner Facial incorporates Nichola’s famous massage from inside the mouth which works the deeper facial muscles leaving the skin looking immediately younger and fresher. This technique improves the skin tone and texture by increasing circulation to the jaw muscles whilst lifting and toning the face. The facial is a bespoke treatment and addresses each client’s unique skin and muscular needs.
